In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead an amazing team of skilled professionals and contribute in a meaningful way HERE IS WHO YOU AREu2026 DRIVE & MOTIVATION u2022 You are passionate about quality assurance and proud to be the champion of quality u2022 You want to be in a leadership role that requires a lot of responsibility u2022 You enjoy using analytical and strategic thinking to find solutions to QA issues u2022 You are health conscious and have values that align with Silver Hills CHARACTER & ABILITIES u2022 You are a leader and a solid people manager with effective team coaching skills u2022 You have eyes like a hawk coupled with strong attention to detail u2022 You are an overachiever who strives for results and excellence u2022 You are reliable, professional, and trustworthy u2022 You are a great communicator who can easily get along and work with different personalities THINGS YOU WILL DOu2026 u2022 Troubleshoot and solve product quality related issues u2022 Ensure HACCP and Food Safety systems are updated and current with changes in the plant, ingredients, and suppliers u2022 Maintain focus and alignment of QA team with company priorities and strategic targets u2022 Support the management team by providing timely KPI's that reflect the health of its' quality and food safety system DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: u2022 Monitor and ensure quality of all inbound raw materials and ingredients. u2022 Monitor and ensure quality of all finished goods. u2022 Maintain and organize retention samples of all inbound raw materials and of all finished goods. u2022 Maintain the facility document file u2022 Monitor overall QA schedule u2022 Support senior management through provision of timely reports, analysis of trends and recommendations u2022 Oversee internal audits, inspection processes, and reporting u2022 Assist in Troubleshooting and solving product quality related issues u2022 Assist in resolving product quality related issues and responding in a timely manner to customer complaints u2022 Ensure HACCP and Food Safety systems are updated and current with changes in the plant, ingredients, and suppliers u2022 Maintain focus and alignment of QA team with company priorities and strategic targets u2022 Assist the company through various initiatives to meet cost targets and monitor quality standards u2022 Review performance of QA Technicians and provide training/coaching u2022 Coordinate the generation and delivery of certificates of analysis for shipments to co-packers u2022 Ensure database of relevant tests is maintained u2022 Other duties as assigned We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
