DescriptionShipping And ReceivingJob DescriptionJob Title: Shipping and Receiving SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team within the warehouse. This role involves managing shipping and receiving operations, working with SAP and Excel to schedule and receive deliveries, and handling FedEx and UPS deliveries. You will be situated by the shipping door inside the warehouse, handling packaging and performing any additional warehouse duties as needed.Responsibilities- Schedule and receive deliveries using SAP and Excel.- Manage FedEx and UPS deliveries.- Handle hands-on packaging and other warehouse duties.- Operate forklifts for material handling.- Perform general laborer duties when necessary.- Conduct data entry using Excel.Essential Skills- At least 3 years of experience with shipping and receiving.- Strong forklift operation skills.- Proficiency in SAP and Excel.- Experience with inventory management, WMS, cycle count, and RF scanner.Additional Skills and Qualifications- Experience in material handling is a plus.Why Work Here?Our company values the growth and success of our employees, promoting from within and offering raises upon permanent hire. Our manufacturing company produces flavors for oils and other substances at medium-sized facilities. The shipping and receiving department is not large, allowing for a close-knit team atmosphere. The role requires wearing steel-toed boots. The Trilogy location focuses on edible products, while the Belcamp location produces non-edible items like essential oils for candles. The opening is for the first shift, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and you must be able to work these hours.Job Type and LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Abingdon, MD.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
