Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis. Based in Walton, Kentucky, this role involves managing various financial tasks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in bookkeeping practices and proficiency in QuickBooks, along with a strong ability to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks. u2022 Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments. u2022 Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and collections. u2022 Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure account accuracy. u2022 Prepare and review financial reports to support decision-making. u2022 Monitor and track expenses to maintain budget compliance. u2022 Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. u2022 Address discrepancies in financial records and resolve issues promptly. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software. u2022 Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Experience performing bank reconciliations and maintaining financial accuracy. u2022 Ability to generate and review financial reports. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. u2022 Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
