Job Title: Press Assistant - 2nd Shift Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operational functions, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output. This position is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment, particularly those with an interest in machining, printing, and quality control processes. Day or night shifts available. Responsibilities + Assist Press operators. + Learn the operation and maintenance of printing and converting equipment. + Set up and run your station effectively and efficiently. + Monitor and adjust equipment as necessary during production runs. + Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep. Essential Skills + Machine operation and general labor. + Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of quality control processes within a manufacturing or production environment. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. + Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. + Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Printing, production, and mechanical aptitude. + Troubleshooting skills. + Experience with hand tools and printing presses. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a printing press environment within a manufacturing setting, with shifts from Monday to Thursday, 4pm - 2:30am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Paola, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.70/hr.
