Job Title: Traveling Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Traveling Carpenter to join our team. This position requires expertise in various carpentry skills and the ability to travel within the Midwest for 2-3 days per week. The role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities + Perform framing and drywall installation. + Execute trim carpentry and cabinetry tasks. + Install cabinets, millwork, and solid surface tops. + Fit wainscot and chair rail. + Mount doors, hardware, and FRP installations. + Install bathroom hardware. + Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints. + Utilize power and hand tools effectively. + Engage in roofing, woodworking, and tile laying as needed. Essential Skills + Proficiency in framing, drywall, trim carpentry, cabinetry, and millwork. + Experience with solid surface tops, wainscot, and chair rail installations. + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. + Skilled in using power and hand tools. + Valid driveru2019s license. + High school diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with FRP installation and bathroom hardware. + Comfortable with plumbing, flooring, roofing, and hardware tasks. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work Environment The role involves traveling within the Midwest 2-3 days per week, with the remainder of the time spent working in the Kansas City metro area.
