Job Summary This position serves two purposes, instruction of Financial Services curriculum as well as program and course development. Bryant & Stratton College instructors will support the College mission by facilitating an active learning classroom through alternative delivery methodologies. Instructors will maintain contemporary knowledge and skills in their discipline to support their expected classroom responsibilities. Instructors will participate in departmental and campusu2011wide activities to support the needs of the student population and campus team. Essential Job Functions + Provide instruction between 15 and 40 contact hours per week. Instruction will be required in different modalities (example: online, blended, in-person, live webinars). + Participate in campusu2011wide initiatives in support of the college, students and alumni. + Student Tutoring as needed + Maintain a current knowledge of teaching discipline/field of study. + Develop and update curriculum for Financial Services related courses and programs. + Attend required College functions including staff meetings, inu2011service training, and special activities. + Assist in the training and development of new and existing instructors. + Utilize active learning (facilitation), and authentic assessment to support the teaching and learning outcomes of the College. + Adhere to and uphold all established operational policies and procedures as described in operating documentation (O _fficial Catalog_ , _Faculty Guide, Associate Guide_ ). Knowledge, Skills, & Experience Bachelors Degree Required Possess or have had possessed an Insurance license in Life/Health and Property/Casualty. Preferred minimum of 3 yearsu2019 experience teaching _._ All instructors will possess and exhibit qualities of professionalism, integrity, self-esteem, self-motivation, and a strong desire to guide students to improve their career prospects. All instructors are expected to maintain a contemporary skill set in support of active learning and authentic assessment evaluation methodology. All instructors are responsible for establishing and maintaining a classroom climate consistent with the College values. EXEMPT POSITION: SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $65,000 Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position.
