Compensation $55000 - $73000 / year Position Summary The CAD Engineer will be responsible to create detailed drawings and schematics according to engineering sketches, specifications, and related data/drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts. Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties u2022 Engaging with our design team to produce electrical schematics and mechanical shop drawings for review by customers, installers, or construction managers. u2022 Revising and resubmitting drawings based on responses to comments from the project review team. u2022 Printing (plotting) drawings for review, approval, and final stamping. u2022 Preparing as-built drawings and final project closeout of drawing work. u2022 Updating and improving upon company standards and templates, as required. u2022 Interacts with multi-discipline teams on proposals and projects Required Skills and Qualifications u2022 Associateu2019s or technical degree with AutoCAD Electrical being a major component. u2022 3-5 years of experience using AutoCAD on a daily basis. u2022 Prior experience with railroads a plus. u2022 Ability to work with minimal instruction. u2022 Ability to interpret customer comments effectively and accurately update the projects drawings. u2022 Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills u2022 Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. u2022 Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in work.
