Join the world's largest HVAC company, named by Forbes as one of America's Best-In-State Employers 2025The Sales Manager - Modular Chiller Plant role is responsible for driving the sale of large, complex, bundled offerings to solution sales customers by promoting the Daikin Applied value proposition at a systemic level. This purpose of this position is to build effective relationships with Owners, construction, purchasing and consulting organizations resulting in new business development while balancing customer needs and financial challenges. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavorLocation: North DivisionWhat you will do:Work and take direction from the regional staff (Regional General Manager, Regional Equipment Sales Manager, and Regional Service Manager)Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for modular chiller plants.Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.Conduct presentations and demonstrations of modular chiller systems to potential customers and design engineers.Negotiate contracts and close deals.Provide technical support to customers, addressing their questions and concerns.Assist customers in selecting the appropriate modular chiller system for their needs.Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.Provide excellent customer service and support.Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and competitor activities.Research and analyze market opportunities.Identify potential customer segments and tailor sales approaches accordingly.Prepare sales reports and forecasts.Contribute to the development of marketing materials.Participate in trade shows and industry events.Other duties as assignedWhat's in it for you:The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our bestQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Engineering degree preferred6 - 8 years of related sales experience in the commercial HVAC Industry4+ years of people leadershipPossess a strong understanding of modular chiller technology and applications.Ability to travel up to 50% or as neededBenefits:Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirementsNon-decaled company vehicle with most expenses paidMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance401K retirement plan with employer contributions matching 100% of the first 3% of employeecontributionsand 50% on the next 2% of employee contributionsCompany provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverageShort term andlong-termdisability3 weeks of paid time off for new employees + 11 company paid holidaysVacationaccrueson a monthly basis, unless applicable federal,stateand local law requires a faster accrualPaid sick time in accordanceofthe federal,stateand local lawPaid parental leave and tuition reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from$113,800 - $188,300 in Minnesota.
