Job Description The Global Network Operations and Security Center (GNOSC) Mission Support Team (MST) Application / Server Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. Job Responsibilities: u2022 Support a 24/7 Global Network Operations Center (GNOSC), coordinating with the MDA GNOSC Event Team and Mission Support Team to execute server and application support for MDA events, exercises, and war games. u2022 Create, manage, and resolve Remedy Incident Tickets in coordination with customers to troubleshoot and restore network communications. u2022 Perform network, system, and cloud monitoring, environmental surveillance, incident management, and MDA cybersecurity operations. u2022 Execute service maintenance activities, including Change Management coordination during assigned night shifts. u2022 Lead IT incident management and escalation, ensuring timely resolution with clear communication of status, plans, and actions to executive leadership and Government customers. u2022 Administer Linux and Windows environments, including troubleshooting, break/fix support, server patching and remediation, and system audit log reviews. u2022 Provide operations and maintenance support for complex application systems across multiple software platforms within an Active Directory environment, including MS SQL Server 2016/2019 and IIS 10. u2022 Conduct battle rhythm application monitoring; troubleshoot and resolve application issues, software conflicts, and client-server or web application failures; install, configure, patch, and update Windows Server 2016/2019 applications. u2022 Install, configure, and support IIS and web applications; troubleshoot application technologies including RHEL, Apache, Tomcat, and others; apply DISA STIGs to web servers and websites. u2022 Manage COTS, GOTS, and custom-developed software applications. u2022 Coordinate with GNOSC Watch Officers, Event Team, and Mission Support Team personnel to ensure site, service, and application outages or degradations are properly escalated, managed, and communicated through resolution. u2022 Coordinate Mission Support schedules to ensure CIO assets are aligned with event requirements and integrated with operations personnel. u2022 Deliver post-event recommendations, including Lessons Learned and Hot Wash inputs. This is a contract to hire position, onsite full-time in Colorado Springs, CO the salary range for this role is between $38-47/hr depending on years and level of experience, education, and certifications. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance.
