Job description:PhlebotomistPlace of Performance:Tacoma, WAA-Team Solutions is seeking (1) Phlebotomist for the American Lake VA Outpatient Clinic in Tacoma, WA. This would be day shift Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.Job Duties:Perform venipuncture procedures on outpatient and inpatient veterans.-Accession and process laboratory specimens in accordance with VA and College ofAmerican Pathologists regulations.- Greet and log specimen orders in for outpatient veterans.Requirements:- High school graduate.- Completed a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) certified phlebotomy training program.- Minimum 1 year experience in phlebotomy in an inpatient or outpatient setting.- Experience with accessioning of laboratory specimens- Experience with processing of laboratory specimens- Capable of reading standard operating procedures and adhering them to the current laboratory processes.- Communicate clearly the daily status and problems about the laboratory output to team members and senior management of the service.- Computer literate.- Phlebotomy Technician (PBT), American Society of Clinical Pathology, or eligibility pending within 3 months of start date.A-Team Solutions is an Equal Opportunity EmployerTo learn more about A-Team Solutions, please visit us at or like us on Facebook Contact Kayla at 606-356-9870 or Brandy at 606-776-4364 Contract 0313Full-Time Employees: Medical, dental, vision, FSA, 401K with employer match, paid holidays, paid time off.
