Bama Foods, 5377 East 66th Street North, Tulsa, OK, USA External Posting Hourly per week Full Time Foods General Production; 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) Starting Pay Rate: $16.25 3rd Shift Differential: $1.50 Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full Time Description: At Bama, the General Production position is expected to understand, engage, and participate in the production activities in their area or position. Directly responsible for making a high quality, safe product; while minimizing scrap, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring a safe work environment and practices. Essential Job Functions/Job Responsibilities: Daily Responsibilities: + Set up, monitor and adjust to compliance the automated machinery. u2022Measure, weigh, and record raw product data and transfer data to the SPC sheet to ensure product is consistent by all specs. u2022Perform routine equipment repairs and assist maintenance with in-depth repairs/modifications. u2022Ensure all paperwork is filled out and processed correctly for area of responsibility. u2022Participate in teams u2022Make ongoing process improvements u2022Understand manufacturing process and possess the ability to drive continuous improvement. u2022Fully engage in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program; maintain and understand all equipment in area of responsibility. Qualifications: + Must possess ability to operate designated machinery and function in assigned position. u2022Must possess ability and aptitude to identify, correct and improve potential safety items; both human and food. u2022Must actively participate in plant safety initiatives with the responsibility to for self and others.
