Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing & Operations + Execute and oversee end-to-end biweekly or monthly payroll processing across 10 legal entities. Assume primary responsibility for one payroll cycle while providing support and review for the alternate cycle. Partner with the Payroll Manager to coordinate payroll activities, approvals, escalations, and deadlines. + Work with ADP Managed Services to manage payroll execution, including data validation, payroll close, and issue resolution. Ensure all payroll activities comply with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies. Off-Cycle & Equity Payroll + Process off-cycle payrolls, including equity-related payments, bonuses, corrections, and relocation off-cycles. Validate off-cycle entries for proper withholding and compliance. Audits, SOX & Controls + Perform payroll audits as required, including pre- and post-payroll reviews and variance analysis. Ensure SOX controls are in place, documented, and operating effectively. Support internal and external audits with documentation, responses, and remediation. Analysis & Reconciliations + Analyze audit results and variance reports; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Work closely with the Payroll Accounting team on reconciliations across all legal entities, including earnings, deductions, and taxes. + Utilize strong analytical and Excel skills to identify trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities. Garnishments & Payroll Tax Coordination + Partner with the other Senior Payroll Analyst and ADP on the payroll garnishment process to ensure garnishments are properly set up, deductions are accurate in ADP GlobalView, and withholdings are correct. + Collaborate with Payroll Tax SME on employee tax setup and multi-state tax compliance. Cross-Functional Collaboration & SME Support + Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and other teams to resolve payroll-related issues. Support payroll projects, system enhancements, and process improvements. Collaborate with the other Senior Payroll Analyst to ensure consistent processes, documentation, controls, and coverage across both biweekly and monthly payroll cycles. Flexibility & Special Projects + Maintain flexibility in schedule to support peak payroll periods, off-cycle payrolls, audits, equity events, relocation payments, system implementations, and special projects. Qualifications Required + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. + 8+ years of progressive U.S. payroll experience in a multi-state, multi-entity environment. + Experience supporting payroll audits and SOX-compliant environments. + Experience processing off-cycle payrolls, including equity and relocation payments. + Ability to manage complex payrolls independently while partnering closely with leadership. Preferred + Experience with large or complex payroll environments + ADP GlobalView, Workday HR and UKG Workforce Management Skills & Competencies + Ability to partner at all levels throughout the organization to define and implement short- and long-term functional strategies. + Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels throughout the organization. + Strong analytical skills with ability to review, reconcile, and analyze complex payroll data. + Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations, reporting). + Ability to manage complex payrolls independently while collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams. + High level of discretion and professionalism with confidential information. + Flexibility to support peak payroll periods, off-cycle payrolls, audits, equity events, relocation payments, and special projects.
