In this handsu2011on role, you will repair equipment by performing mechanical assembly, and testing. RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Perform a range of production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies u2022 Use drawings, schematics, and verbal/written instructions to complete high-quality assembly work u2022 Identify and communicate nonconformities to support exceptional product quality u2022 Communicate openly and professionally with teammates and other departments u2022 Follow all required safety and ISO practices to maintain a safe, reliable work environment u2022 Maintain fixtures and perform routine preventive maintenance that keeps production running smoothly u2022 Assist in training team members on established processes u2022 Document work accurately and consistently u2022 Serve as a technical bridge between departments when needed u2022 Demonstrate strong work ethics, reliability, and a positive team attitude u2022 Consider customer impact when making decisions and performing work u2022 Collaborate effectively in a supportive team environment u2022 Perform other duties as assigned u2022 Domestic travel (up to 50%) may be required initially; minimal travel anticipated after the initial period WORK ENVIRONMENT: u2022 Location: Fort Collins, CO. u2022 Fast-paced, engaging manufacturing environment with a strong team culture u2022 Repetitive motion tasks using modern electronic assembly tools and equipment u2022 Overtime may be required during peak production periods Strength Requirements Standing u2013 approx. 40% Sitting u2013 approx. 40% Walking u2013 approx. 20% Weight Requirements Carrying u2013 up to 30 lbs Pushing u2013 up to 50 lbs Pulling u2013 up to 50 lbs QUALIFICATIONS : u2022Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions u2022 Strong to advanced soldering skills u2022 Basic electro-mechanical skills u2022 Ability to identify components and interpret technical documentation and schematics u2022 Basic computer proficiency u2022 Familiarity with SAP is a plus u2022 Knowledge of ESD (electrostatic discharge) practices u2022 Ability to adapt, collaborate, and thrive in a team-driven environment EXPERIENCE: u2022 Experience with electrical circuits or electronic assemblies preferred u2022 Background in electro-mechanical work is beneficial u2022 Demonstrated ability to stay flexible and work effectively as part of a team EDUCATION: u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent required COMPENSATION: _As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
