FT: Mobility Manager, Falconer.Scope of Work: The Mobility Manager serves as a critical link between the community and the Chautauqua County Public Transportation System. This role focuses on increasing the accessibility, awareness, and utilization of public transit services through outreach, education, travel training, and partnership development. The Mobility Manager works collaboratively with community stakeholders to identify unmet transportation needs, coordinate funding and resources, and promote innovative solutions that enhance mobility for all residents, particularly underserved populations such as seniors, individuals with disabilities, low-income individuals, and rural residents.Responsibilities:Outreach, Education, & MarketingService Utilization & SupportCommunity Coordination & PartnershipsUnmet Needs & Funding StrategyQualifications:To successfully perform the job, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements listed are representative of the knowledge and skills. Education and Experience: An Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Services, Urban Planning, Public Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field is required; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience in mobility management, community outreach, or transportation planning. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in program coordination, public transit operations, community engagement, or human services is required; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceA valid drivers license and ability to travel throughout Chautauqua County and surrounding areas. Required Knowledge and Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting to diverse groups. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships. Familiarity with ADA requirements, transit funding sources, and inclusive transportation practices. Department policies and procedures. Job-related laws, ordinances, and regulations. Techniques for working with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel. Preferred Skills: Experience with travel training, transit marketing, or case management. Knowledge of local and regional transportation resources and funding devices. Experience working with seniors, people with disabilities, or underserved populations. Communicating effectively, accurately, and clearly. Contract and/or grant writing. Working collaboratively with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.Subject to reference check and criminal background check.
