Cheer Coach ~ Sophomore

Minimum Stipend Offered: $3,377 Purpose StatementExtra-curricular activities are a vital extension of the student experience. As the Sophomore Cheer Coach, you will lead, inspire, and develop student-athletesby teaching cheer-specific skills while fostering positive character traits and building meaningful relationships with athletes both in and outside of practice. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute cheer routines, practices, and performances.Provide individualized coaching to athletes, focusing on technique, safety, and performance.Lead the development of choreography, stunts, and game-day cheers.Promote a positive and supportive team culture.Encourage teamwork, discipline, and municate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff.Ensure the safety of students during rehearsals, games, and events.Job RequirementsStrong communication and leadership skills.Passion for coaching cheerleading and motivating students.Knowledge of cheer techniques, stunting, and safety regulations.Education and ExperienceCompletion of 60 or more college credit hours prior to coaching.Eligible ApplicantsFHSD Certified EmployeesFHSD Non-Certified EmployeesQualified External CandidatesWe look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you to the FHSD team!
