Description "Concrete FinisherThis position is responsible for various concrete work including forming, pouring, smoothing, and finishing concrete such as sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools; inspect completed work, direct and supervise laborers, and other associated tasks.Job Type: Full-Time +, Non-ExemptPay:Competitive, HourlyBenefits:Company Sponsored Retirement PlanHealth Insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision)Employee Assistance ProgramLife, long-term/short-term disability insurancesVacation TimePaid HolidaysEssential Functions & Responsibilities:Build formwork according to plans, including flat work, curbs, ramps and retaining walls.Layout for anchor bolts, build templates and install in correct orientation.Bend and tie rebar cages to spec.Calculate concrete volumes to accurately order concrete.Setting concrete forms in place, ensuring appropriate depth and pitch is achieved.Use various tools to pour, smooth and level concrete.Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for quality pouring.Drives a company provided pick-up truck to-and-from all order locations.Is expected to keep truck well maintained and report to General Foreperson any issues involving maintenance of truck.Works around customers and the general public consistently and is expected to maintain a very high level of professionalism.Assist in on-site work duties.Minimum Qualifications:Must be 18 years-of-age or older.Must be able to work independently and lead a small crew for form, place, and finish work.Education & ExperiencePrior similar experience preferred.Pre-ScreenUpon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.License & Certifications:Driver's License Preferred, but not required.Physical Requirements:RARE(less than 10%): crawling, climbing poles, gripping, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, climbing stairsOCCASSIONAL(up to 33%): climbing on/off truck, lifting, carrying, lifting over 50 lbs.FREQUENT(up to 66%):sitting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, lifting, carrying, lifting up to 10 lbs., lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs.CONTINUOUS(up to 100%): standing, walking, body-twisting, speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, reading, reaching, range-of-motion, hearing-speech range, depth perceptionIndividuals with a disability who desire a reasonable accommodation can contact the ADA Coordinator by calling 1-833-222-3066.
