We are seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer for assignment in Wilton, Connecticut. The selected candidate will collaborate with on-site personnel to support projects of varying size and complexity including assessment of systems, consulting system owners and analyzing scope requests from stakeholders.Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm** This position is on-site **- Work will include retrofit of existing building systems as well as new systems- Interacting with the client, contractors and site personnel- Designing, developing, evaluating and preparing recommendations with basis of design (BOD) and scope of work (SOW) documents- Develop construction and specifications documents through the positional (programming) process with a team- Oversee engineering and construction for the facility power distributions system work (up to 13.8kV), grounding, lighting, emergency and standby generation systems, life safety systems and fire alarm and detection systems- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering - 10+ years experience in engineering design of building electrical systems, including distribution to end use- Solid knowledge and application of the electrical requirements per NFPA 70, 70E, 72, 101, 110, building codes, energy codes and other related standards such as IEEE and ASHRAE standards- Solid knowledge in practice and procedures for specifications and selection of all types of electrical equipment and hardware- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS and other controls applications- Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications- Field experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel#IND
