Discover endless opportunities to grow and make your mark at Hines.As a Manager or Senior Manager - Private Wealth Internal Sales with Hines, you will be responsible for overseeing Inside Sales Desk staff, adding value to brokerage clients, and exceeding sales goals. The Manager will plan, allocate, and monitor work to assure the attainment of department objectives; recommend appropriate staffing levels, provide input to the budget process, and other related people management actions.* Job title based on experience.Manage the team responsible for initiating and/or responding to telephone sales calls from/to new or prospective clientsProvide ongoing professional development of internal sales team through coaching, business planning, and facilitating training related to Hines products and sales processMake proactive outbound phone calls to brokers to share ideas, provide accurate product informationPrepare sales reports for managementWork with senior management to develop the department's strategic plans, objectives, and goalsTravel to national and regional conferences to present products, build brand awareness, and establish rapport with prospective financial advisor partnersAttend strategic home office visits to establish relationships with key decision makers and encourage strategy alignment and product educationAssist in interview and hiring process for internal sales positionsTrack metrics to make data-informed decisions about inside sales strategyCollaborate with various departments including sales enablement, marketing, operations, and fund management to communicate needs, challenges, and opportunities and ultimately support fundraising endeavorsStay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies; incorporate relevant insights into sales approach and strategyEnsure adoption of new technologies, processes and tools to optimize sales team effortIdentify inefficiencies in sales processes and protocol and work with Sales Enablement to provide solutions and improve productivityMeeting monthly performance and service level goals, including internal customer satisfactionAct as liaison to sales management and communicate client needs, market trends and competitive informationMinimum Requirements include:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionTwo or more years of inside sales and people management experience in the financial services industrySeries 7and 63 licenses required, Series 24 within 90 days of employmentAbility to effectively lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals and drive sales goalsAbility to think strategically, provide direction, be an effective communicator, influence others and have strong work commitmentDemonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office softwareAbility to perform in a fast-paced, team driven environmentStrong knowledge of investment market and company products and servicesAttention to detail and accuracyDemonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn while ensuring that all deadlines are metDemonstrate superior project management and multi-tasking skills, frequently managing multiple projects at one-timeWell-developed strengths in decision making, problem solving, initiative, follow through and collaborationWork indoors approximately 100% of the timeOperate personal computer and other office equipmentAbility to lift up to 25lbsAbility to travel approximately 10% of timeWork overtime as business needs deem appropriateAt Hines, we strive for excellence as a leading global real estate investment manager, driven by our by our belief that real estate is fundamentally about people.
