The ManufacturingTechnical Trainer Develops and conducts manufacturing training initiatives, including onboarding of new employees and on-going training of job skills, skills enhancements, continuous improvement (Lean processes), and quality program requirements. Enjoy acompetitive benefits packagedesigned to support your health, happiness, and future:Day 1 benefits- no waiting period to access your health, dental, and vision coveragePaid Time Off (PTO)so you can relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of workShort-Term Disabilitycoverage for added peace of mind when you need it most401(k) with company match to help you build your financial futureGeneral Bonus Opportunitybased on performance and company successComprehensive benefits that support your overall well-being — because we believe happy employees do their best work!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Completes daily technical training in classroom setting and, on the floor, to assist with the Certification and skills enhancement of team members in their rolesUse independent decision-making to design and develop training materials, reference materials, presentation materials and job aids (SOP’s, Guided Workflows, Technical Learning Aids)Ensure all materials are clear, concise, instructionally sound, and directly support learning objectivesDevelop and revise courses and prepare appropriate training catalogsPrepare student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms)Partners with manufacturing leadership, human resources and Sr Technical Training Specialist to support development and implementation of training roadmap for operational effectiveness, as neededAssists with tracking, evaluating, and measuring training using the company’s corporate LMS and department tracking tools and matricesDevelops, builds, and maintains relationships with trainees & leaders to recommend additional trainingDevelops and implements apprenticeship programs in alignment with training roadmapParticipates in new employee onboarding process - assesses candidates’ skills levels (general, equipment/machine, accuracy, industrial experience, and provides perspective)Conducts training on all shiftsInfluences others to be safety-mindedTeam member will support managing day to day Certification Processes & will be supported by Sr Technical Training Specialist, plant management, and job specific subject matter experts (SMEs) with training tools & general knowledge contentEmployees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifukupolicies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction Additional duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements:3 years’ experience conducting/leading training, including on-the-job training, or similar, in a manufacturing or technical environment4 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:Proven Facilitation/Presentation/Platform experienceExperience leading Lean processes or Kaizen events preferredBachelors degree preferredProficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointExperience with LMS system preferredProficiency in MS Office and in database softwareKnowledge of traditional and modern training methods and toolsExcellent problem solving / continuous improvement skillsAbility to effectively present complex information to a variety of audiences in a variety of methodsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation skills and use of presentation softwareStrong decision-making and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlinesAbility to speak and read the English LanguageUSD $55,000.00USD $65,000.00
