Pump Assembly Technician

With us, it's all about providing the perfect opportunity for your career to flourish Pay: $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Temp to hire. B Shift: 12pm to 8:30pm, Mon-Fri. Key Responsibilities: + Pump Assembly & Testing: Assemble, disassemble, and rework various centrifugal pump prototypes (10hpu20134000hp) per detailed test plans and engineering drawings. + Test Setup: Install pumps into test loops, connecting valves, piping, electrical systems, and instrumentation using hand and power tools. + Performance Testing: Execute pump tests, document data accurately, and generate reports for engineering analysis. + Technical Drawings: Interpret BOMs and blueprints using both English and Metric systems. + Equipment Handling: Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other lifting devices to move parts and materials safely. + Facility Support: Assist with maintenance of test equipment, instrumentation, and overall test area cleanliness and safety. + Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and support a culture of safe working habits. Qualifications: + High school diploma required; Associateu2019s in Engineering or related field preferred. + Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, heavy equipment, or rotating machinery. + Ability to use measuring tools, hand/power tools, and read complex schematics. + Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes a plus. + Willingness to learn new tasks and work collaboratively in a team-driven environment.
