Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. The role involves the repair and maintenance of plant equipment, buildings, and grounds, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities + Repair and maintain all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds. + Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics, pumps, valves, motors, and conveyor belts. + Work with 480v, 240 single, 3 phase systems, VFDs, and transformers. + Install 3 phase systems, run conduit and wire. + Observe and listen to mechanical devices to locate causes of trouble. + Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts. + Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. + Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. + Repair or replace defective parts, lubricate and clean machines. + Start machines to test their performance. + Repair electrical equipment and control systems. + Maintain records in compliance with quality procedures. + Conduct plant-wide safety checks on equipment. + Complete maintenance request forms and preventive maintenance records. + Follow safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations. + Complete requisitions with proper approvals for maintenance items. + Ensure timely completion of all maintenance repairs to machinery and equipment. + Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on auxiliary equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clyde, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
