HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Naperville, Illinois. This role focuses on supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration, within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR practices and processes, along with a proactive approach to enhancing employee experience. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee benefits enrollment processes, assist employees with inquiries, and coordinate annual open enrollment activities. u2022 Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate employee records and updating policies as needed. u2022 Facilitate performance management initiatives, including evaluations, coaching, and employee development programs. u2022 Design and implement training and development workshops to promote growth and skill enhancement. u2022 Manage HR data and analytics, generating reports to support strategic decision-making. u2022 Collaborate on compensation and rewards programs, ensuring competitive pay structures and recognizing employee achievements. u2022 Provide guidance on employee relations matters, fostering a positive work environment and resolving workplace issues. u2022 Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding processes. u2022 Monitor compliance with FMLA regulations and other employment laws. u2022 Utilize HR systems and tools, such as ADP Workforce Now and Dayforce, to streamline processes and maintain efficiency. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. u2022 2-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably within manufacturing. u2022 Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance standards, and employment practices. u2022 Proficiency in using HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Dayforce. u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. u2022 Certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus. u2022 Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
