Paralegal

Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will provide essential support for insurance defense cases, ensuring all legal processes run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and trial preparation, with excellent case management skills and a paralegal certificate. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist attorneys with discovery processes, including gathering and organizing relevant documents. u2022 Conduct legal research to support case development and strategy. u2022 Prepare and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. u2022 Coordinate trial preparation activities, including witness communication and evidence compilation. u2022 Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements and procedural rules. u2022 Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence. u2022 Utilize case management software to track case progress and maintain records. u2022 Maintain communication with clients, keeping them informed about case updates and progress. u2022 Collaborate with team members to facilitate efficient workflow and task management. u2022 Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth operations within the legal team. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal role in insurance defense or civil litigation. u2022 Proficiency in discovery processes and trial preparation. u2022 Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules. u2022 Experience using case management software to organize and track case progress. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team and communicate effectively. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Paralegal certification REQUIRED.
