Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Design Engineer in Test (C/C++) in Redmond, WA.nnSummary:nThe main function of a Software Design Engineer is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.nnResponsibilities:n Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or proceduresn Test system modifications to prepare for implementationn Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usabilityn Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developersn Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or contentn Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successesn Create or maintain databases of known test defectsn Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
