CNC Machinist

Job Title: 1st and 2nd Shift Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Machinist with at least 3+ years of experience in setting up, operating, and program editing of CNC mills and lathes. The role involves the operation of numerically controlled vertical and turning centers, as well as tube lathes, band saws, abrasive saws, and tie rod machines. The successful candidate will perform tasks such as cleaning, de-burring, masking, painting of cylinders, material handling, general housekeeping, and removal of chips from machines. Responsibilities + Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes. + Operate numerically controlled vertical and turning centers. + Handle tube lathes, band saws, abrasive saws, and tie rod machines. + Perform cleaning, de-burring, masking, and painting of cylinders. + Conduct material handling, general housekeeping, and removal of chips from machines. + Perform all operations within the capability of the machine(s) being operated. + Work in a cellular production environment requiring flexibility to perform multiple tasks. + Operate Mazak Integrex Machining Center with 4th axis as an added advantage. Essential Skills + Minimum of 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC vertical mills or horizontal lathes. + 3+ years of experience working off blueprints. + 3+ years of experience using micrometers and calipers. + Proficiency in Mazak, Integrex, and 5-axis Machining Center. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Mazak Integrex Machining Center is a plus. + Ability to work in a union environment. Why Work Here?
