Test Engineer

Job Description: Test Engineer We are seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for conducting Lot Acceptance Test Activities at our onsite testing range and actively participating in production team meetings to drive continuous improvement. This role requires establishing and monitoring inspection plans based on customer-required acceptance criteria and ensuring compliance with both customer requirements and our Quality Management System. Responsibilities + Perform Lot Acceptance Test Activity at onsite testing range. + Participate in production team meetings to drive continuous improvement. + Establish and monitor inspection plans based on customer required acceptance criteria. + Write and maintain test procedures. + Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company Quality Management System. + Collaborate with a wide range of personnel including Engineers, Manufacturing personnel, management resources, and customer representatives. + Write and incorporate detailed work instructions. Essential Skills + Experience in troubleshooting and test engineering. + Proficiency in writing test procedures, plans, and work instructions. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. + Hardworking and hands-on with a willingness to engage directly in tasks. + Understanding of the mechanics of firearms. + Experience with various types of testing such as vibration, ballistic, jolt & jumble, and destructive & non-destructive tests. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of an associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience. + Experience in the defense industry, particularly with ammunition and DoD projects. + Interest or hobbies related to firearms are beneficial. + Willingness to undergo on-the-job training for certifications, safety, and procedural instruction. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr. Company provides full time benefits and will be shared upon desire to pursue role. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Janesville,WI.
