This position is eligible for a $5KSign-On Bonus This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 0.60 (24hrs, part-time)Tuesday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm (2nd shift) With a callrotation about every 7 weeks and about 2 holidays a year. Job Summary:At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, preparespatients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment.Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines andprescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protectionmeasures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards andsupports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positiveand effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, andstaff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas asnecessary. Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalitiesand meets the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry,CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography. Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: One year of current clinical experience in eachmodality is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Post high schoolcompletion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program isrequired. An additional 1-2 years of college/university courseworkand/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field ispreferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered and current State ofWisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. Registered by the ARRTin CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 month of hire/transfer isrequired. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for theHealthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is requiredwithin 90 days of hire.
