Installation Technician u2013 Copper Mountain Wastewater Treatment Plant Location: Summit County, CO Schedule: Mondayu2013Thursday, 6:30 AMu20135:00 PM (4x10s) + occasional Friday OT Employment Type: Long-term project through 2027 Job Description We are seeking an Installation Technician with strong mechanical experience to support upgrades at the Copper Mountain Wastewater Treatment Plant . This role involves assembling, installing, and replacing various piping systems and components made from metal, plastic, ceramic, and composite materials, as well as installing plumbing fixtures. Responsibilities + Assemble and install piping and tubing for water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases throughout buildings and structures. + Install vacuum piping systems, drainage, and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to connection points. + Move and handle materials, tools, and equipment used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters. + Assist in the demolition of the old wastewater treatment station and construction of a new station. + Work closely with an on-site assistant supervisor who is mechanically inclined and provides oversight. Essential Skills + 3u20135 years of verifiable experience preferred. + Experience with piping systems, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical installation. + Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely in adverse weather conditions. + Strong adherence to safety protocols and policies. + Effective communication skills with team members and supervisors. + Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and develop. + Good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods.
