You will follow established preventive and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring equipment reliability and safe operation. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial dock doors and dock levelers. u2022 Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. u2022 Conduct inspections to ensure systems meet operational and safety standards. u2022 Respond to and close out work orders in the CMMS system, documenting all work performed and materials used. u2022 Assist senior or lead technicians on complex repairs or installations. u2022 Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, ensuring tools and parts are properly stored. u2022 Support safe work practices in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA standards. u2022 Travel between facilities as needed to complete assigned work. Basic Qualifications: u2022 High school diploma or equivalent. u2022 2+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial dock doors, dock levelers, or similar mechanical systems. u2022 Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. u2022 Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding environments. u2022 Basic computing skills and experience with CMMS or work order systems. u2022 Valid driveru2019s license and good driving record needed. Travel between sites will be a requirement of the role. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Trade school or technical program graduate. u2022 Experience with welding, fabrication, or energy management systems. u2022 Familiarity with basic HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems. u2022 Demonstrated ability to work independently and safely in fast-paced environments. Physical Demands: u2022 Frequently required to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 lbs. u2022 Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with fluctuating temperatures. u2022 Tasks require proper use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and fall protection equipment. u2022 Involves movement between departments, floors, and facilities as needed.
