Receptionist / Office Lead - CPA Firm Job Type: Temporary with Possibility of Evaluation-to-HireSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexible); overtime or half-day Saturdays may be required during peak tax seasonPay: $18-$26 DOELocation: Stayton, OR Overview:A well-established CPA / tax accounting firm is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receptionist / Office Lead to support operations during the busy tax season (late December through July/October). This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills who enjoys working in a professional accounting office. There is potential for permanent hire for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the front desk receptionist and first point of contact for CPA firm clients Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner Schedule client appointments and manage the office calendar Assist with in-office tax document drop-offs and client intake Copy, organize, and assemble tax files for CPAs and tax preparers Support administrative operations within a busy accounting office Preferred Qualifications: Prior receptionist, office assistant, or administrative experience Experience working in a CPA firm, tax office, or accounting environment is helpful but not required Familiarity with tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, client intake forms) is a plus Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills How to Apply: Email your resume to with the job title in the subject line Apply in person at 454 Church St NE, Suite 120, Salem, OR 97301
