Welder - 1st Shift Location: Chattanooga, TN Pay: $21u2013$23 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Fullu2011time About the Role We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder . Key Responsibilities + Perform MIG welding on fabricated components + Fabricate railing, stringers, assemblies, frames, brackets, and custom components to spec + Use cutting torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and fabrication tools + Verify dimensions, tolerances, and alignment before welding + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area + Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Required Experience & Skills + 1+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred + Proficient in MIG and/or Fluxu2011Core welding + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Experience with fabrication tools (saws, torches, grinders, tape measures, squares) + Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Work Environment The position is based in a non-temp controlled manufacturing facility, requiring steel toe shoes. The work schedule involves starting at 6am or 7am and includes 10-hour shifts, totaling 40-50 hours per week. No certifications are required for this role Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.
