Manufacturing Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description The role involves operating a slitter, assembly, labeling, quality control, and packaging. In certain areas, minor setup and equipment operation may be required. Responsibilities + Operate machinery including slitters and other equipment. + Perform assembly and labeling tasks. + Conduct quality control checks to ensure product standards. + Package products efficiently and accurately. + Assist with minor setup and equipment operation as necessary. Essential Skills + Experience in machine operation, packaging, and assembly. + At least 6 months of prior warehouse or equivalent experience. + Manual dexterity and good coordination. + Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Work Environment You will work in a clean environment in teams of 2-4. The dress code requires jeans or work pants, and no leggings or sweatpants. All personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and cut-resistant gloves, must be worn, while steel toe boots should be self-supplied. The first shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime based on workload. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boone, IA.
