Production Expeditor

Hiring for a Production Expeditor in Putnam Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Production Expeditor, where you will provide crucial tactical, floor-level support to the Planner by ensuring materials and jobs move according to the production schedule. You will serve as the real-time link between ERP data and shop floor reality, and act as a backup to the Planner to maintain continuity of operations. Responsibilities + Ensure timely movement of materials and jobs according to the production schedule. + Act as the real-time link between ERP data and shop floor operations. + Serve as Planner backup when needed to ensure seamless operations. + Maintain a positive attitude while executing tasks confidently. + Work independently and demonstrate reliability in attendance and follow-through. Essential Skills + Experience with ERP or MRP systems, with the ability to learn M1. + Strong skills in Excel and manufacturing floor awareness. + Ability to work independently without direct supervision. + Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Exposure to ERP systems is acceptable for recent graduates. + 1u20133 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings preferred. + Experience coordinating with outside processing vendors. + Prior support of planning or scheduling functions. Work Environment This role is set in a fully on-site manufacturing environment located in Windham County, CT. The position requires regular interaction with external vendors and supports procedural build-out and team restructuring. Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and an on-site interview is required. Employees are encouraged to contribute actively as the company builds its structure, processes, and supply chain foundation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Putnam, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.64 - $26.44/hr.
