Job Title: SurveyorJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surveyor to conduct topographical surveys, property boundaries, and construction layout surveys. The role involves downloading and uploading survey data into AutoCAD, researching land records, and coordinating with engineers and project teams. Responsibilities + Conduct topographical, property boundaries, staking, ALTA, and construction layout surveys. + Download and upload survey data into AutoCAD. + Research land records and documentation. + Coordinate with engineers and project teams. + Work collaboratively with a survey crew. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Civil 3D. + Experience in survey drafting. + 2+ years of experience in land surveying. + Experience using Leica, Topcon, or total station equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Trimble GPS and boundary survey software. + Familiarity with ALTA surveys and topography. Work Environment This role is primarily field-based with some office work on the computer. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime and weekend work as necessary. You will work alongside the survey manager on various job sites located throughout Connecticut and occasionally in New York. Job sites may range from construction sites to wooded areas. The position requires physical activity. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stratford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
