Details Location: Wichita, KS Facility: Ascension Via Christi, Rehabilitation Hospital Department/Speciality: Physical Therapy - Inpatient Schedule: Day Shift l PRN Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm. Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process._ Responsibilities + Create individualized treatment plans that empower patients and their families to achieve their specific recovery goals. + Evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive assessments to ensure every clinical intervention is tailored to their unique needs. + Perform evidence-based therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. + Lead and mentor support personnel, including assistants and students, to maintain a high standard of collaborative care across the rehab team Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: + High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
