Collections Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will handle high-volume collections activities while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in NetSuite, and familiar with business-to-business collections processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage high-volume collections activities, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding accounts. u2022 Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, addressing payment-related concerns and resolving any issues. u2022 Prepare and send payment reminders and follow-ups to clients using established protocols. u2022 Perform reconciliation of accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address disputes and ensure accurate account management. u2022 Utilize NetSuite to track collections efforts and maintain organized records. u2022 Analyze aging reports to prioritize collection efforts and optimize recovery. u2022 Provide exceptional customer service to build and maintain positive client relationships. u2022 Handle sensitive financial data with discretion and compliance to company policies. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in commercial collections, particularly in B2B environments. u2022 Strong knowledge of collection processes and best practices. u2022 Proficiency in using NetSuite for collections and account management. u2022 Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a focus on detail. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Capable of resolving discrepancies and disputes effectively. u2022 Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and internal teams.
