Culinary Banquet Supervisor

The Culinary Banquet Supervisor will work with the Banquet Manager and Executive chef to manage the banquets team, functions, and the hourly kitchen employees. This position is also responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guestsu2019 needs in a timely manner and supervising the set-up service and clean-up of all assigned banquet functions. The Culinary Banquet Supervisor will have basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Banquet Manager and/or Executive Chef. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: u00b7 Leading and coaching the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results u00b7 Inspect the set-up of meeting and banquet functions checking them against the Banquet Event Order. u00b7 Supervise and assist with the set-up of assigned banquet functions ensuring that the hotel's standards are met and advance preparation for service is adequate to allow efficient service to the guest once the function begins. u00b7 Assist in service of banquet functions as required. u00b7 Assist in banquet set-up as required. u00b7 Supervise and assist with the break down after the completion of functions to ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly. u00b7 Inspect the sanitation of all function space and storage areas to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the department. u00b7 Producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. u00b7 Monitoring food production, ordering, cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis u00b7 Assisting with monitoring payroll costs and overtime The Hotelsu200b When you stay at a Thompson Hotel, you are welcome as a resident.
