Acoustics Analyst

Conduct acoustic reconstruction/analyses of Fleet exercises/operations to determine the effectiveness of active and passive sonar systems at sea using quantitative measures of effectiveness (MOEs) of operational importance to the Fleet. Active and passive sonar signal analysis supporting advanced research and development. Preparation and review of analysis presentations, reports and databases. Presentation of analysis results at internal and external working group meetings. Coordinate and conduct at-sea experimental reconstruction activities, including acoustic signal analysis and performance improvement analyses in support of cross-functional system engineering and development teams within the Environmental Sciences Laboratory. Other related functions as assigned.
