See details about what we do.This position is a member of our Water Supply Division.HEREand#8217;S WHAT YOUand#8217;LL BE DOINGPerform reviews of water district applications; and conduct research for unique non-standard applications to determine eligibility, engineering, and financial feasibility according to applicable statutes and Commission rules. Provide recommendations and prepare related reports for use by the Commission and the public.Coordinate work, provide guidance, answer questions, and review the work and technical analyses of less experienced staff.Serve as a mentor and lead training of new/less experienced municate with local, state, and federal agencies, engineers, financial advisors, attorneys, board members, and district directors to exchange information concerning water district application spect water districts to ensure conditions match those outlined in the application.Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCETexas Professional Engineer's license. Employees in this classification series may research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure, including but not limited to a communication infrastructure system, cybersecurity system, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment system, or water treatment facility. Accordingly, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure is a requirement to be hired for and to continue to be employed with TCEQ.
