We help Oracle build the best-in-class cloud offering by providing the physical infrastructure and software to test and qualify networking hardware, configuration, design, and tooling. We build labs and tools to test physical hardware, and simulate large-scale networks and designs. We own top-level network integration testing ensuring our network comes together flawlessly and performs as designed. We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test who will contribute in automating the network, optic and optical engineering testing efforts, interface with Network Lab team to contribute to the automation framework to enable lab as a service. You should be comfortable at building complex distributed systems that interact with end users at one end and network infrastructure at the other. Prior experience in coding is required and experience in networking is a desired. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. Your excellent judgment and strong communication skills will be invaluable when defining the roadmap for your areas of ownership. Come join us Mandatory Qualifications: u00b7 4+ years of experience as a SDET/SDE u00b7 Proficiency in Python u00b7 System level test automation experience u00b7 Experience using GIT u00b7 Good understanding of L2/L3 networking technologies and protocols u00b7 Experience with networking protocols such as BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, MPLS. u00b7 Experience with high level software design/development.
