Temporary Wedding and Events Assisting Coordinatoru00a0Heinz Chapel is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Wedding and Events Assisting Coordinator. Be part of a team that has hosted weddings and events for happy couples and guests for decades at a breathtaking, iconic building in Pittsburgh.Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:- Serves as the Chapel representative at weddings and events for clients, vendors and guests.- Assists the Heinz Chapel wedding coordinator with rehearsal and ceremony set up and coordination of wedding party- Acts as a building steward, maintaining keys and badge access. Secures and opens the building.- Oversees vendor (photographers, videographers, officiants, etc.) compliance with guidelines and strict time schedules.- Develops an understanding of all technical aspects of the Chapel including audio and lighting systems and recorded organ system- Other duties and special projects as assignedWeekend and evening work will beu00a0requiredu00a0in this position.u00a0Incumbent to work approximately 2 weekends per month.Note:u00a0This position is part-time and will payu00a0$20 per hour. Chapel guidelines and policies need to be followed; however, each event (wedding, memorial service, etc.) requires the incumbent to be sensitive to the individuals involved. Must handle difficult and complex situations with tact and diplomacy to maintain a service-oriented environment. The position requires the ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds.
