Building Custodian & Facilities Maintenance

Location: Harley-Davidson Louisville & BMW Motorcycles of Louisville Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Harley-Davidson Louisville and BMW Motorcycles of Louisville are looking for a dependable Building Custodian & Facilities Maintenance team member who will be responsible for keeping both dealerships clean, organized, and properly maintained. This role focuses strictly on building cleanliness and basic facility upkeepu2014no parts, sales, stocking, or service department duties. Key Responsibilities: Custodial Duties + Clean and maintain all customer and employee areas + Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces daily + Clean restrooms, restock basic supplies, and ensure they remain presentable + Empty trash and recycling across the building + Maintain glass doors, windows, and showroom floors for a polished appearance + Keep exterior entryways clear of debris, dirt, and cigarette waste + Assist with cleaning tasks following dealership events (open houses, bike nights, etc.) General Building Maintenance + Replace light bulbs, maintain fixtures, and handle simple repairs + Perform routine walk-throughs to identify issues needing attention + Light landscaping: weed removal, blowing off sidewalks, basic grounds upkeep + Seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal or salt application as needed + Assist with maintaining a clean warehouse, storage rooms, and mechanical areas + Notify management when outside vendors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are required Qualifications + Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment + Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks continuously + Basic hands-on repair and maintenance ability + Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently + Previous custodial or general maintenance experience preferred but not required + Comfortable working around motorcycles and within a busy dealership environment Requirements + High school diploma or the equivalent. + Current valid driveru2019s license.
