Join the #VTeamLife.What you'll be doing...As an Engineer III Regulatory/Real Estate, you will be responsible for helping maintain our local and federal regulatory compliance for initial builds and/or modifications to existing locations. You will interact with regional markets and HQ teams to understand the laws and regulations, and submit documentation to the appropriate regulators on behalf of the business. In addition, you will help guide the regional network teams on these regulations and steps we can take to streamline future deployments. You will also assist in facilitating meetings between our regional teams and regulatory partners and regularly track and report on progress.- Analyzing, interpreting, and monitoring relevant government regulations.- Drive vendor performance and accountability across Site Acquisition, Architectural & Engineering (A&E), and Legal workstreams to optimize network deployment efficiency.- Evaluating network projects proposed by submarket teams to ensure regulatory compliance.- Providing mentorship and direction on regulatory requirements.What we're looking for...You'll need to have:- Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience.- Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.- Valid driver's license.Even better if you have one or more of the following:- A degree in Real Estate or a related discipline.- Experience managing vendors (i.e., Site Acquisition, A&E, Legal).- Experience with telecom site acquisition work.- Project management experience.- Understanding and experience in zoning and permitting.- Experience in working with attorneys in a contract and legal capacity, or paralegal training.- Experience with FUZE and Network Real systems.If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every
