Electrical BIM Planner

Job Summary Miller Electric-The BIM Planner is responsible for the planning, layout, design, and coordination of assigned projects. They can rely upon their extensive level of electrical knowledge in the construction field. Essential Duties & Responsibilities + Planning, layout, and design of electrical installations + This person has a thorough knowledge of electrical systems, construction documents, and quality construction work practices + Seeks ways to infuse quality and labor savings into overall layout efforts + Review Construction Documents (Drawings and Specifications) notes, list what is important from a VDC viewpoint on the PLD Dashboard. + Aids in the creation of detailed bill of materials for the Inwall Task only. + Plan and lay out work for modeleru2019s use. + Develop a 2D document plan based on specs, drawing notes, design drawings and all applicable codes for the modeler to create a digital model while instituting (QA) parameters. + Maintain regular contact with the Project Personnel and collaborate project requirements. + Aids in the creation of detailed bill of materials for the Inwall Task only. + Performs other duties as assigned by management.
