PositionOverview The Clinical Lab Associate I, Specimen Processing isresponsible for performing the day-to-day operations of the SpecimenProcessing Department including, but not limited to, lab productivityand process line support, such as: accessioning, processing, automationusage, sample racking, lab maintenance, and lab cleaning, as well asother lab support tasks. The Clinical Lab Associate I, SpecimenProcessing follows all Laboratory policies and procedures and maintainsaccurate data reporting practices to ensure consistent and diligentexecution of Specimen Processing. This role supports the mission andvision of Exact Sciences Laboratories and shares the responsibility ofensuring the Specimen Processing department operates effectively. Thefunction of this position is performed under the guided direction of theSpecimen Processing Supervisor or designee. Location: 650 Forward DrShifts Available 3rd Shift - Tues - Friday, 10pm - 730am Wknd P - Sat -Mon, 6pm - 630am Essential Duties include but are not limited to thefollowing: Perform primary responsibilities listed below completely,timely and accurately: Support and comply with the company's QualityManagement System policies and procedures. Maintain documentation ofproblems and problem resolutions following Good Documentation Practices(GDP). Support department goals that align with organizationalpriorities. Work with leadership to identify and progress on individualdevelopment goals that align with organizational priorities. Supportoperational initiatives including, but not limited to, quality andprocess improvements, SOP development, department inspections andaudits. Complete all mandatory training assignments and annualcompetencies within established timelines. Handle and dispose of allspecimens following standard precautions and applicable safety policies.Understand and comply with all lab and safety regulations.
