FTE: 0.900000 Standard Hours: 36.00 Shift: Shift 2 Shift Details:Orthopedic and Plastics ST 0900-2130 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Holidays:Yes Weekends: Weekend Call Job Summary: As a member of the healthcareteam, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patientinsuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of thehospital is carried out. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year ofSurgical experience is required. Experience can come in any combinationin a role as a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post highschool education, certification or diploma required. Completion of aSurgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating RoomSpecialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice IIprogram required. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Certification as a SurgicalTechnologist. Surgical Technologist Level 3 staff, or above, with a dateof hire or adjusted date of hire prior to 8/1/2020 are not required tobe certified, as long as they meet the criteria in the job description.American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the HealthcareProvider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 daysof hire.
