JOB OVERVIEW The FieldInstallation Supervisor (IS) is a part-time position responsible forsupervising a group of 2-3 Installation Merchandiser Floaters within aspecific geography. Installation Merchandisers help build Hallmarkfixtures, moving card departments, installing new stores, storerelocations, and card department remodels. SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILSYour starting hourly pay rate will be between $20.00-$22.00 dependingon your skills and experience. Eligible Employees receive annual payincreases. This is a Part-Time position with daytime and early eveninghours, typically Monday through Friday. Average weekly hours for thisposition are between 15-25 hours per week. Availability the week beforeand after major holidays, which may include weekends is required.Weekend work may be required during major holiday periods. YOUR ROLE ANDRESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE You'll perform supervisory overview andassistance with service work in the Hallmark department of variousretail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores,and mass retailers. The Installation Supervisor position consists of twomajor components: Supervise and Manage Service: Supervise a team of 2-3Installation Merchandiser Floaters. Document and manage performance withmanager feedback and input. Handle retailer concerns, retail executionissues and retail merchandiser performance issues by working with storemanagement, field merchandisers and/or your manager. Lead DepartmentRemodels and Resets: Prepare, direct and follow-up on minor installationwhich involve resetting product, building fixtures and merchandisingproduct. Lead or participate in major installations when businessexceptions require additional support. Major installations could involvemoving the card department, building fixtures and merchandising this role you must be able to motivate both in-person and remoteteams, follow through on commitments, and lead by example in applyingHallmark's best practices. You should excel at managing and leadingothers through change, delegate tasks when needed, and demonstratestrong problem-solving skills. Being organized, managing timeefficiently, and handling administrative duties are also keyresponsibilities, as well as building and maintaining strong customerrelationships. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This is a physically demanding jobthat requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will beworking on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must beable to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandiseand display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50pounds on occasion.
