As a key member of the Accessioning and Receiving team, youu2019ll support life-saving newborn screening efforts, manage clinical sample intake and data entry, coordinate with statewide courier services, and help ensure laboratories have the supplies they need to operate smoothly. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Coordinates the daily operations of statewide laboratory courier used for the transport of + Environmental and Clinical samples. This includes reconciling daily courier logs and ensuring sample integrity and sample count. Communicate with the courier dispatch to resolve sample transport issues, track the origin of the issue and initiate an investigation for timely resolution. + Maintain an adequate supply of the data loggers, Active Transport coolers, thermometers and ensures their certificates are valid and in compliance. Maintain the driver audits for accreditation compliance. + Procure goods for the OPH Lab Support Services Department in accordance with state procurement rules and regulations. Receives submitter supply order forms, gathers requested supplies and prepares items for shipping to the submitter. + Receive and intake Clinical samples submitted from various state-wide submitters and Public Health units in accordance with the Lab SOP into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and maintain accreditation compliance.
