Sterile Process Tech Trainee

Summary Under the direction of an assigned team member, responsible for: strict adherence to all clinical, regulatory and industry standards for inventory, prioritization, maintenance, documentation, sterilization of all surgical instrumentation and equipment while aiding in and reducing the risk of surgical site infections. Education Must be a High School Senior enrolled in a High School Medical or Biomedical Educational program or coursework. Other Qualifications Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to operate and understand multiple computer technology programs and understand the importance of providing appropriate special order supplies for each surgical case.
