Job Summary and Qualifications As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, youu2019ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, youu2019ll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patientu2019s progress. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day. LVNs provides direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and within their scope of practice. They work under the supervision of an RN and collaborate closely with patients, families, providers and the interdisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include: + Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly + Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence + Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly + Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination + Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques + Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care What qualifications you will need: + Completion of LVN program + LVN license in state of Texas or Compact State + Most units prefer experienced LVNS with at least 1-2 years but are open to New Grad LVNs. + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse + Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate Benefits Las Palmas Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
